Three Voices for Toscania
Martyna Barbara Golik, Lola Lely and Olga Prader: three international voices for Toscania, Bitossi Home’s tribute to local traditions.
Three international perspectives for telling the story of local traditions. During Design Week, with Toscania, Bitossi Home sought to bring the vision of three young international creatives to the forefront.
Martyna Barbara Golik, a textile designer based between Copenaghen and Poland, transformed the windows of the Santa Marta boutique with Anu, a line of handmade linen curtains featuring a grid pattern to evoke the ancient iron grilles of the palazzi in Florence.
Lola Lely, with her London-based Wax Atelier, experimented with a collection of handcrafted vases made from flower paper dipped in beeswax, designed to hold the flowers and scents of Tuscany. Meanwhile, Olga Prader, a Swiss graphic designer who lives in Paris, interpreted the lighthearted and ironic spirit of Bitossi Home by playfully revisiting the lily, the historic symbol of Florence.
