For Milan Design Week 2024, Bitossi Home presents "OGGETTI LENTI" - Slow Objects, a selection of items to narrate a story marked by the patient and measured work of artisans. Weaving takes center stage in the narrative of temporal leaps and serves as a meeting point for unpredictable journeys. Colombian designer Mercedes Salazar chooses raffia to bring to life a colorful animal universe, while artisans from Bassano del Grappa use ribbon ceramic to create a series of baskets in unprecedented colors. The exchange between geographies, ancient knowledge, and materials is enriched with a selection of naturally woven vintage objects curated by Francesca Sarti, enlarging the Emporio Collection of Bitossi Home. Without haste, with poetry and delicacy, slow objects remind us once again that beauty, now more than ever, needs time.
