Carmi Grau, born Carmen Maria Traud, is a German illustrator and lettering artist currently based in Berlin. Inspired by the beauty of nature, she creates bold imagery using her distinctive vocabulary of strong colors and geometric forms.

Within her vast illustrative universe, she combines messages of hope with dreams that inspire kindness and motivation, while supporting causes close to her heart such as LGBTQI+ rights and environmental issues. She has worked with brands including Nike, Disney, Sony Music, Amazon, Coca-Cola and Wired Magazine.
