Gentucca Bini was born in Milan in 1970. Her grandmother, Bruna Bini, collaborated in her fashion atelier with artists such as Fontana, Baj, Arnaldo Pomodoro and Emilio Scanavino; her father created the image of Pierre Cardin and designed his stores. After studying architecture and industrial design and gaining experience at the Pierre Cardin atelier, Gentucca became assistant to André Léon Talley.

In 1997 her accessories were selected by Karl Lagerfeld for the Chanel Couture show, and in the same year she launched her own brand. In 2006 she became creative director of Romeo Gigli’s men’s and women’s collections, and in 2011 creative director of Manteroseta. She collaborates with prestigious brands on projects spanning architecture, fashion and design.
